The Society of Camera Operators Lifetime Achievement Awards

The Society of Camera Operators Lifetime Achievement Awards are SOLD OUT.  The Society will broadcast the red carpet show at 7:00pm PST directly followed by the livestream of the Awards show.  Log on to SOC.ORG or SOCAwards.com for the broadcast.

Event Timing
The Awards show is on Saturday, January 26th at the Loews Hollywood Hotel. There will be an after party hosted at Preston’s located inside the Loews Hollywood.

5:00pm : Hosted pre-reception and Red Carpet opens
5:45pm : Ballroom doors open
6:30pm : Dinner is served
7:30pm : Awards Ceremony starts
After Party, Preston’s Loews Hollywood Hotel immediately afterwards

Arrival
Upon arrival, please make your way to the Hollywood Ballroom on the mezzanine level. Please either bring your confirmation, delivered through your confirmation email, on your phone or in hard copy, or bring a photo ID to check in and receive your table assignment.

Parking
Parking is available at the Loews Hollywood; valet for the fee of $22 or self-parking at the Hollywood and Highland complex, which is attached to the hotel, for $15.

Dress Code
The Awards show is black tie.

We look forward to celebrating the art and craft of the operator and crew and to support our charity, The Vision Center at The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

SOC Speed Mentoring Event Wrap-Up

Huge thanks to everyone who participated in our Speed Mentoring event @ Tiffen! It was fantastic seeing the Speed Dating concept applied to mentoring and giving our Members an amazing opportunity to speak 1-on-1 with some of SOC’s finest. Special thanks to Lisa Stacilauskas for bringing this event to life and all of our mentors who made this event special. Keep an eye out for similar events in the future!
