In your endeavors to secure adding SOC to your screen credits (SOC after your name), it as come to our attention that including your full credit in your deal memo will not confirm your credit. You need to pursue the topic and find out who in postproduction is accountable for the credits and communicate directly with them. Insuring that we all use our SOC title and educate our fellow production members to the importance of the SOC distinction will only elevate the role of the Camera Operator and the Society world wide.
