DESCRIPTION:Join SOC membership for these casual\, in-person gatherings. Each Member Mix-Up will be hosted by two members and feature a theme or topic of their choice. Think relaxed and informal ……….hanging out with fellow members while chatting about career\, gear and other hot topics. Bring your own snacks and drinks (and some to share) to liven the mood! \nRegistration is open to SOC members of all categories in good standing with the ability to bring one guest. \nTopic: The State of Camera Motion \nSOC Hosts: Larry McConkey\, SOC & Jim McConkey\, SOC \nThe SOC Member Mix-Up will focus on transcending the usual limitations of camera work with smaller and lighter gimbals\, cranes\, Steadicams\, support systems and transitioning between them. \nAvailable parking and pop-up tents provided \n*Please note that if raining on August 5th the event will move to August 6th. This will be determined the morning of August 5th. \nPlease bring your own beverages and snacks and a little extra to share with your fellow members. The Mix – Up will be hosted with limited indoor space and pop – up tents provided. \nPlease do not register for this event if you will not be attending. We have limited space.
