Each Member Mix-Up will be hosted by members and feature a theme or topic of their choice. \nWhile Steadicam is an essential tool for filmmaking\, being a Steadicam operator is not a requirement for being an “A” camera operator. \nThis two-day event is a combination of discussion\, hands on gear training\, and member Mix – Up’s\, all regarding this concept of being a non-Steadicam “A” camera operator. \nSOC Hosts: Mitch Dubin\, SOC\, Don Devine\, SOC & Dan Gold\, SOC \nRegistration is open to SOC members of all categories in good standing with the ability to bring one guest. Space is limited\, please be courteous to your fellow members and only register if you can attend. \nPart 1 – Zoom\nDate: Friday September 22\, 11am – 1pm PST \nPart 1 will be a zoom panel discussion with Mitch Dubin\, SOC\, Don Devine\, SOC and Dan Gold\, SOC. We will also have at the facility a NODO wheels training set-up\, traditional geared heads and a Ronin 2 with Black Arm setup\, giving participants at the event an opportunity to sharpen their skills on the wheels and remote heads. \nThink relaxed and informal . . . hanging out with fellow members while chatting about career\, gear and other hot topics.
