This hands-on workshop explores the process of breaking down a script, selecting the right gear and collaborating with directors and DPs to craft compelling visuals. Participants will block and shoot a scene using professional cinematic tools, gaining real-world experience in bringing a script to life.

This workshop will teach the creative process of crafting cinematic images from words in a script to on set. Demonstration and discussions will cover:
- The steps in breaking down the script
- How to choose what technology best supports the story and why.
- Relationships between the director, director of photography and crew in this process
A scene from a script will be presented with participants learning how the scene is blocked and shot. This workshop is designed for hands on learning using cinematic tools.
