Camera Crane Workshop
Join the Society of Camera Operators for this two day comprehensive workshop focusing on camera crane work for Camera Operators. The workshop will encompass ample hands-on gear, demonstrations, lecture, and one on one discussions with the instructors.
Work with veteran camera operators and learn to execute practical set-ups with some of the largest and often most daunting tools on set; cranes. This 2 day immersive workshop puts students in the hot seat working with a team of expert crane techs and dolly grips to pull off that multi-million dollar shot. Spend time on the wheels, operating the big cranes with stabilized remote heads in a variety of different setups.

Workshop Details
Date: Saturday, July 11th 8am to 7pm & Sunday, July 12th, 8am to 7pm
*Please note days will be long and times are estimated. Sunday may run later and we recommend not booking flights out before 9pm Sunday.

Qualifications:
- SOC Active or Associate Member in good standing
- Competent on gear heads NO EXCEPTIONS
SOC Member Fee: $1,950 USD
What’s Included: All meals, equipment, and materials are included in the workshop fee. For out-of-town participants, transportation will be provided to and from the host hotel and CineMoves. Accommodations are not included.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund minus an administrative fee of $150 will be refunded if you need to cancel your seat by June 29th, 2026. After June 29th there will be no refunds (we will do our best to fill your seat and refund minus the administrative fee). Please anticipate 30 days for the refund.
