SOC’s Member Mix–Up’s: Cinemoves – LA

Join the SOC membership for this casual, in-person gatherings – Member Mix-Up’s. Think relaxed and informal ……….hanging out with fellow members while chatting about career, gear and other hot topics. Bring your own snacks and drinks (and some to share with your fellow members) to liven the mood!
An afternoon of Cranes and Remote Heads with Cinemoves – LA
Date: Saturday, November 4th 2023
Time: 1pm – 5pm PST
From 5:00pm-on will be a general industry gathering hosted by CineMoves. All welcome to attend.
Location: CineMoves Ranch West, 6426 Chagall Dr., Moorpark, CA
SOC Hosts: Mitch Dubin, SOC, Geoff Haley, SOC & Scott Howell
Get up close and personal with Cinemoves new Arm car team and equipment. Matt Moss (our favorite arm car driver) will be on sight to show the newest creation from Cinemoves. Attendees will have an opportunity to sit in the ops seat and play with the head and arm. There will be a demo of the new remote head shaker feature available in both handheld and desk-controlled modes.
Experience the UFO. Mike Anderson ( Key Grip extraordinaire ) will be on sight to demo what a 90’ telescopic custom construction crane with a remote mounted 45’ Technocrane is capable of range 120’ Techno. You have to see it to believe it!
In addition, there will be multiple MATRIX and cranes set up for you to get some hands-on fun. (Shake off the rust)
Light crafty and refreshments will be provided. Parking will be available onsite.
Registration is open to current SOC members of all categories in good standing with the ability to bring two guests. Please be courteous to your fellow members and only register if you are able to attend.
