Sony Sunday BBQ & Masterclass

Join the Sony Cinema team for an afternoon of friends, food, and learning. Sony has partnered with Stargate Studios and the SOC to present a Virtual Production Masterclass and a panel on the VENICE camera with the camera operators from the series Snowfall: Manolo Rojas, SOC, and Pauline Edwards, SOC.
11am Virtual Production Demo
Sam Nicholson AC shows the practical applications of virtual production using the Sony VENICE and our Crystal LED wall technology. Sam will take you through four locations in 30 minutes and talk about using smaller sets and photoreal backgrounds.
12pm SOC Award-Winning Camera Operators Panel
The SOC will present a panel with Manolo Rojas, SOC and Pauline Edwards, SOC the camera operators from Snowfall. The duo will discuss their experience using the VENICE, how they rigged it and working with the LED wall.
